"Eastern U.S. reeling from record flooding"

"Philadelphia -- The worst flooding in the eastern United States in decades, triggered by days of torrential rain, has killed at least nine people and forced thousands to flee their homes.
With roads washed out and waters rising, authorities yesterday declared emergencies across swaths of New Jersey, New York, Maryland and Pennsylvania.
Up to 200,000 people in Wilkes-Barre, Pa., and the surrounding area were ordered to leave their homes before sundown yesterday as the Susquehanna River rose to dangerous levels threatening to overwhelm a flood-control system. Reuters"

SG>> I sincerely hope you guys are OK.

Farewell party pics...and then some..

Thanks to the flatmates, I've got some pictures from my farewell party in Sydney. It was very low-key, went to a house party and then hit an all-time favourite bar Three Wise Monkeys (yes, it's a tourist bar but it brings back memories of Sydney and thats why I picked it! so :oP) Anyways, so before the party, the housemates+Chris decided to grab dinner at Maya Sweets...mmm I miss their punjabi thalis...

I couldn't wait for dinner, Chris decided to force-feed beef jerky

Half of the gang at Maya Sweets...what happened to everyone else??

Chappie and the rest of us, wasted at Hungry Jacks after the farewell jam (what happened to the party?)

babylon fallin? crumblin?

"This is who I am, today and tomorrow.
Listens to me, but only with her eyes.
And the world turns only so many times.
I can't wait for you to find me in your heart beneath your fear.
Oh I've moved on and you're still here...
This is who I am, today and tomorrow. " - Dylan Murray, Don't wanna sit around

Burned one down....with Ben Harper!

Ok so if you're ever gonna go see a band in concert....go see BEN HARPER AND THE INNOCENT CRIMINALS! I went to see him here in Sydney with one of my flatmates a couple weeks ago...and altho I wasn't super enthusiastic about his new album, Both Sides of the Gun, to hear it live was an amazing experience. The group is so pumped and energetic on stage, their performance was just sooo incredibly passionate and freaggin Ben was singing for almost 4 hrs straight! The crowd was just sooo into it, by the end of the show everyone was standing in the seats and was just so hyped up. Will have pics up soon from the concert....but definately check out Ben's percussionist....he was the star of the show in my opinion!
