Damn The Man..oh shit...now I'm The Man

After one year of busting my ass and taking ppl's shit, I finally got a promotion. Woooo. Being promoted after only a year at this place is actually quite abnormal, so I feel rather proud and trailblazer-like. The new title - Assistant Manager, Internal Communications, or as the junky would say, I am now the Ass Man of internal communications...lovely.

The sky is falling...

Snow...there is snow on the ground. Disgusting, grey, icy, cold snow. I thought global warming was supposed to be in effect and that we would no longer have snow?!!?! hmph! now I'm grumpy. damn first snowfall of the year.

Rock me tonight, for old time's sake...

Soooo..I didn't think I had it in me to party like it was 1999 anymore, but nope, I managed two solid nights of drunken debauchery and lived to tell the tale. Maybe I'm not such a granny yet!
The Cayman invasion has finally ended and I must say, there is a slight empty feeling, but it was really good to catch up with all the old Intel-ers from the Western days. Sometime soon I'll post some super old pics to embarass the lot of you! But for now, here's a few from the weekend:

Catching up...

Well it's official...the old Naiqueen is back in full-effect for this week, and this week only. Last night, S flew in from Cayman and the dynamic duo is back together again to cause chaos and mayhem in the streets of T.O. Let's hope that she doesn't pull a JJ and sleep through her flight home due to excessive drunkeness!

In other news, today is my quit day. And, I couldn't be happier. It's an incredible feeling to be free and no longer dependent on a stick of poison. I'm pretty sure this is it and that I'm set for a life of non-smoking bliss. Allen Carr, you'd better not fail me.
