Camping is FABULOUS! especially when you have showers and washrooms and camp kitchens and disco's for 5-year-olds! and you say..."huh?!?!" let me explain....our easter weekend camping trip consisted of 7 people sleeping in tents in two allotted spaces at a caravan park in a town just 3 hours south of Sydney, Ulladulla. mind you...the caravan park was right next to the beach...regardless of that..it was not real camping...but i slept in a tent! woohoo!! it was an awesome time....a little awkward at times because i was getting wasted and rather debaucherous with my boss....but whatever..its australia! our first night we just drank and sat around in the dark (you can't light campfires in this country...apparently its illegal cuz it causes bush fires or something....haha yah....who would've thunk it?). anyways...so the next day...bright and early we started out at the beach while Phil and his buddies surfed:
Then we headed out for a game a drunken mini-golf - I had the highest score....woohoo!!! (for those of you who don't understanding golf scores...that means i came in dead last):
After drunken put-put golf....headed out to the harbour for some fishing..oh yes...we went fishing!! ten years since i've fished and i've still got it....except for the fact that i didn't catch a damn thing...but got lots of bites! we sat out on the rocks until it got too cold for us to be outside and then we went back to the camp and made dinner for an army....during which there seemed to be some disco party for children and their drunk parents being held in the kitchen...needless to say....our supper was a rather disturbed and hurried scarfing down of food:
We ended the day by heading out to Funland...where fun times are had by all!! in truth...its a ghetto video arcade that drunk kids go to to break machines and win silly prizes....we accumulated enough tickets to win us 7 foam glider planes..one for each! yay! once we were kicked out of the place...(it was closing..i swear!)....we proceeded to fly our glider planes in the middle of the street....while phil whipped his plastic boomerang at oncoming cars..i can assure you that this was indeed a fulfilling experience...
the next day we had to head home but on our way back we stopped in a town called Kiama which is famous for a blowhole....its like this hole in the rocks and when the waves from the ocean go thru this cave...it blows out massive amounts of water...a natural wonder apparently..anyways...was cool...we did some fishing out in the kiama harbour too...good times...still haven't caught anything....doh!
so all in all...it was a good trip....got a small taste of what camping is like...without the bush/hardcore nature part....ehahea..i like it!

Now about the MTV Video Music Awards...yes yes..I'm sure you're all wanting pics...but unfortunately i didn't really get many pics of me or SG at the show...just some blurry pics of the celebrities and show...and some of our other friends that were there that night. Anyways, the show itself was not all what I had expected...not as hyped up as the American show...there were mostly Aussie celebs there and I didn't know who any of them were...but regardless of that...i got to see Snoop!! woohoo!! and might i add....he's still got the sex appeal he had a decade ago (yes...I think Snoop Doggy Dogg has sex appeal)...
